Training for the Eureka Block Trainers
The three-day residential training program for the Eureka Block Trainers was a transformative experience held in Kodaikanal from 12th to 14th June 2018. It was designed to enhance their teaching skills and knowledge in both academic (English and Maths) and non-academic subjects. The curriculum included crucial topics like self-defence, child sexual abuse prevention, health and hygiene, and gender equity. It teaches individuals to protect themselves, promotes a healthier lifestyle, and fosters a more equitable and inclusive society.
This training not only empowered the trainers with valuable skills but also equipped them to address critical issues affecting their communities. By focusing on such a diverse range of topics, the program aimed to create a ripple effect of positive change, impacting not just the trainers but also the students and communities they serve. The goal was to create a more informed, empowered, and resilient community capable of tackling various challenges effectively.
